DIALOGAKUTEN 2026
August 28–30 | Södergården, Götgatan 45

4 playwrights · 4 performing arts groups · 2 creative weeks
Dialogakuten is Dramalabbet's mini-festival for extremely newly produced drama. Four playwrights each write a dialogue that is then interpreted at lightning speed by four performing arts groups. The result is presented during an intensive performance weekend at the end of August.
This year's edition features:
Playwrights:
Aviana Steinbacher
Aya Kanbar
Ellika Lagerlöf
Guled Salad Ali
Performing arts groups:
The Void Club
National Black Theatre Sweden
André Hasselgren & Maria Lindeberg, Artistic Directors of Dramalabbet
Aviana Steinbacher & Charissa Martinkauppi
The theme for this year's edition will be announced on August 14, the same day the playwrights begin writing. At that time there are only weeks left until the Swedish parliamentary election and it will permeate the theme in various ways. Dialogakuten will be Dramalabbet's sprawling, disobedient, free and artistic commentary on the ongoing election campaign.
Accessibility:
The audience will need to use stairs to move between the performance areas.
Unfortunately, Södergården is not wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch if you have any questions about this, and we will gladly assist in any way we can.
The performance is presented as part of the Stockholm Fringe Festival and is supported by the Swedish Arts Council, the City of Stockholm, the Svante Bergström Theatre Foundation, and the Farsta District Administration.
