Stadsmuseet (Stockholm City Museum) is what it says on the tin: A MUSEUM. Performances will take place in the museum courtyard. This is the first year we’re using this venue! The City Museum’s mission is to increase knowledge of and interest in Stockholm’s history. The City Museum is a knowledge institution that cares for Stockholm’s common memory and cultural heritage. We research and document, inventory, publish and disseminate knowledge about our city. We manage extensive collections that are constantly growing. By understanding how the city has grown and how varied life has been for Stockholmers at different times, we get better opportunities to understand today’s city. You can take part in exhibitions, tours, city walks and other activities that provide opportunities for experiences, learning and deepening for both children and adults.
