In this workshop, participants get to explore the interactive VR experience "Virtual Dreams", where you can play with objects around you in a digital world. The experience uses hand tracking instead of controllers, so you can interact using just your hands in a really natural and intuitive way.
The idea behind this experience comes from Arash, who thought about how dancing or moving in front of others can feel uncomfortable, especially for people who are shy or introverted. But in VR, it somehow becomes easier and less intimidating. Arash has always been fascinated by hand tracking because it makes things feel more real and helps people connect with the digital space without needing to hold anything.
Alicia will guide everyone through the experience, where movement and dance are fun tools for interacting with the virtual world. By using your body and motion, you'll get in shape and transform your own creative space in a playful and expressive way.
Led by: Arash Anbari (VR developer) and Alicia Karhunen Larsson (Dancer)
