The German comedy star you enjoyed at Eurovision in Basel 2025 has a Swedish premiere with the English-language version of her stand-up show “Immer noch wach”: Still awake!

At the beginning of her thirties, Hazel is already a two-time mom, owns her own company, has a house in the countryside, is a very successful podcaster, and is a regular on television. But above all, she's one thing: Still Awake.

This is the new stand-up show of the queen of quick-wittedness!

Hazel Brugger is a stand-up comedian and host. Born in the US, she grew up in Switzerland and now lives and works in Germany. A broad audience loves and knows Hazel for her quick wit and media versatility, which spans stages, TV, streaming networks, and social media.

Hazel was hosting this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. Throughout her career, Hazel has been rewarded with numerous awards such as the most prestigious comedy awards of Germany, Austria and Switzerland: “Deutscher Comedypreis”, “Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis”, “Salzburger Stier”
and “Swiss Comedy Award”. With her well-known podcast and YouTube series, she regularly lands on top of the charts.

This evening is divided into two acts:

Act 01: The Opening Gala of Stockholm Fringe Festival (#STOFF2025) featuring a cavalcade of live performances by local and international artists from this year’s program.

Act 02: ”Still Awake” - A stand-up show with the acclaimed comedian Hazel Brugger.

The Scala Bar opens at 17:00 and the show starts at 19:00!

The Stockholm Fringe Festival (STOFF) takes place annually as a performing arts festival, bringing together artists from around the world to fill Stockholm with innovation, thrilling acts, and creative zones. This year’s festival runs from August 27 to 30 and presents over 50 unique acts with nearly 200 events across stages throughout the city — a carnival of art in all its forms.

The opening gala and Still Awake will be performed in English.
