”The Months” is a story about a family and the 12 months of the year. The family consists of the mum, the sister and Marie. Marie is most of the time alone, but she has her spider as a best friend and comfort. The mum and the sister are very afraid of everything that is a bit different, and do all in their power to get rid of it. What kind of impact will that have on the 12 months?
Environment, fear of being alone and fear of the unknown are some themes in this Folktale.

The spoken word, mime, dance and 3D are blended together in to this performance, where retro and classical influences meet modern expressions.

Music: Debussy, Smetana, Tchaikovsky, Jonna Jinton, Máddji, Saint-Saëns, Debussy etc.

Marie är lite annorlunda, bryr sig inte om det materiella och har en spindel som enda vän. Marie bor med sin mamma och syster som gärna vill slippa Marie. Hon plundras därför på käraste ägodelar och kastas ut på omöjliga uppdrag. Det är vinter och mycket kallt. Så stöter Marie på Månaderna. De har härlig gemenskap och samarbetar trots olikheter. Marie blir snabbt förtjust. Men vad vill Månaderna Marie?

Konstnärligt vill föreställningen tillgängliggöra klassiska uttryck i nya blandformer. Teater och 3D kombineras med folk-, romsk-, klassisk och samisk musik. Mim och dans inspirerat av balett eller Cullberg används som uttrycksmedel.
