Contemporary Theatre and Performing Arts Criticism is a seminar and at the same time a workshop about performing arts and mostly theatre criticism. We will discuss what theatre criticism is, why it's important, where it is addressed and who writes it. Then, we will talk about the sectors of the performance we should focus on while writing a review. Of course we are not omit to discuss the situation of criticism in the years of such intent growth of internet press.

In the second half of the session, we will read and discuss some reviews (translated in English) and some worth mentioning cases that reviews stirred up reactions, rightly or wrongly... Then we will watch some excerpts from performances, try to write something about them and then discuss it all together.
