Three performers enter the stage, preparing and focusing on their ultimate task: drinking water.
After a round of presentations, the three athletes sit in front of a table, each with a glass of water before them. Each of them begins to experiment with their glass, seeking the most original and challenging ways to drink the water. They watch and challenge each other, and the tempo of the piece starts to increase as they take greater risks. Water starts to spill onto their faces, clothes, and the floor.
Now, they stand up, as it's time to collaborate toward a common goal. This leads to a series of lifts and tricks, some successful and others not, but what truly matters is the collective effort.
Until where their exploration will go ?
"Stay Hydrated" is a challenging and entertaining performance, both for the performers and the audience. The audience is constantly on the edge, never sure of what will happen next, torn between amusement and disgust.
It is also an experiment made by the artist on how to transform a singular movement such as drinking water into a sportive and artistic act and a gentle reminder of staying hydrated at all times.
